Door Frame Protectors – Models A1-DFP & A2-DFP – CSGroup Acrovyn
Custom-formed Acrovyn® door frame protectors designed to shield metal frames from repeated impacts, carts, and day-to-day abuse. The A1-DFP and A2-DFP models are rugged two-piece covers, thermoformed from .040" (1.02 mm) thick Acrovyn to fit the majority of standard metal door frames. Specify the door thickness and required height to match your opening.

- Helps extend the service life of the underlying frame by absorbing day-to-day impacts.
- Available in the full Acrovyn palette of solid colors, woodgrains, and brushed metal finishes to coordinate with adjacent doors and wall protection.

- High-use corridors serving carts, equipment, gurneys, or wheelchairs.
- Patient rooms, resident rooms, and back-of-house service corridors.
Product Details
- Adhesive-mounted Acrovyn frame covers – no fasteners through the face of the frame.
- PVC-free Acrovyn construction.
- A-series models are thermoformed from .040" (1.02 mm) thick Acrovyn with a durable suede texture.
- Standard height: 4' (1.2 m); available heights: approx. 32"–114" (0.8–2.9 m) to suit various opening sizes.
- Self-adhesive tape configuration available for faster installation when permitted by site conditions.
- Fire-rating information is heat-stamped on the product where applicable.
Certifications / Testing
- Resistant to selected bacterial and fungal growth (tested per ASTM G22 and ASTM G21).
- Chemical resistance tested per ASTM D543.
- Taber abrasion testing performed per ASTM D4060 on suede and shadowgrain Acrovyn textures.
- Fire testing to UL 10C for applicable Acrovyn models. Check project requirements and submittals for specific ratings.
